Our office is associated with the Fibromyalgia Center Of America(FCA), which is a network of doctors involved in researching better ways to understand and treat this condition.
FCA was birthed from caring and concerned doctors who independently researched methods that could help the frustrated , debilitated sufferers of Fibromyalgia. These doctors have joined knowledge, methods and results with a professional commitment toward relief. They are committed to finding the causable factors and correcting them through modern technology. Thus the birth of Fibromyalgia Centers of America.
What is Fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia is widespread muscle and skeletal pain. Widespread is defined as pain occurring on the right and left sides of the body, above and below the waist, and along the spine. Localized pain also may occur in a majority of identified “tender points” all over the surface of the body.
Do I have Fibromyalgia?
A patient must have several symptoms present so that the diagnosis of Fibromyalgia can be confirmed. Many patients that have the symptoms may not even know what Fibromyalgia is. Others have been told by their MD that they “are on their way to having Fibromyalgia soon if nothing is done”.
